DESIGNING EQUITY

Visual Identity and Collateral

Designing Equity, LLC is a consulting firm specializing in diversity, equity, inclusion, and institutional compliance.

Role: Graphic Designer
Client: Caroline Laguerre-Brown
Tools: Adobe Illustrator & Microsoft PowerPoint
Deliverables: Logo, LinkedIn Banner, and Presentation Template

Overview: I developed the visual identity for Designing Equity to reflect the consultancy’s values of expertise, experience, impact, and engagement, using a color palette selected by the client.

“Interaction Institute for Social Change | Artist: Angus Maguire.”

Research: I explored visual representations of equity and drew inspiration from a well-known illustration to guide the logomark concept.

Logomark Concept

Design: The rectangles reference the equity illustration by showing what’s needed to reach the same outcome. Blue represents designing equitable conditions, the services Designing Equity offers, and red represents equity as the result.

Typeface Choice

Logotype: Trajan Pro 3, Tagline: Halcom
